JTAG need help xbox dead??

hi my 360 was working perfectly fine only thing was i wanted to update it so i ran jrunner put in my original nand(not the current) and made a flash image from it and flashed it with usb but now it doesnt even turn on no power light and the psu is working fine and the light of the psu doesnt change,and with ejecting the drive as well doesnt turn on.

as i have nand x installed in it so i connected nand x to my pc and tried reading my nand with jrunner but it tells me ARM 1 ERROR so people told me try updating your nand x and it should work so i ahve ordere the cable to update it.

but i was talking to people in irc and they told me i have to short the nand i am really afraid because i have not done my jtag it was done by someone else and now that person doesnt live near by.

so what do you guys think i should do i m leaving you with pics of my xbox

Are you sure you flashed the right freeboot image ?

If you flashed a falcon one to a jasper for example the console will seem completely dead.

Happened to me before so I shorted out the nand so I could write to it again.
Its not as bad as it sounds

how do i short the nand no idea? and plus do you think if i update my nand x i will not have to short anything beacuse you know after all my xbox is my precious LOL.but serously wouldnt mind waiting before taking this drastic step.

There is a safer way of doing it but this is the easiest and I've done it a few times this way and never had a problem

Updating your nand x has nothing to do with this

ok i have finally got power on my machine i created an image with jrunner and flashed it with nandpro ok i get power mnow but no dashboard plus i didnt have to do any shorts on the board. but now im stuck with black screen any help??

any donors i have a jasper 256mb

Seems like you have flashed an incorrect image to the nand. Try reflashing the original image that worked back to the console. Worst case scenario you can get donor nands from Jtag Tool and write you raw kv to it.

well now its come down to this i can get back to my stock which is 7371 but i cant install xell or anything else if installing any i always get black screen.

Then get someone to do it for you. I don't think your soldering is by any means good enough as the RoL solder point looks either way off or totally wrong.

but if my point were not soldered proeprly do you think i would be able to read and write?? becuas ei can read and write but its only when i write a ahcked image i get a black screen otherwise if i write stock image it loads that fine.

1 the wiring for the jtag hack has nothing to do reading writing to the NAND but could very well be the cause for the black screen. It could also be a hardware failure occurring.

yes but i ahve multiple times im not saying once or twice but multiple time written and as i told you i write stock it works and when i write hacked nand black screen.
