hi can any help me plz as i got a cr4 installed in my xbox 360 and when i play a game off my xbox 360 hdd it runs ok for about 1-2h then i get a yellow light on my power block and it freezes my game and the xbox 360 and it takes a but before it boots again i can true it on and the green light comes on my xbox but the light on my power brick gos like a yellow/green so i got to keep it off for about 15mins then it all boots up fine for another 1-2h then it gos the same

i tryed my other power brick i have and it still doing the same and my xbox not over heating as i turn the fan up in setting and thats running cold now i just didnt know if it had any thing to do with the wire under the xclamp or any other wire that can be making it do this
can't see inside your xbox from here, maybe you would want to post some high quality pics of your install
or we can have another thread with 4 pages of guesses

I would also suggest try playing a game off the disk and see if it does the same in the same timeframe.
Did you clean and change the thermal paste when installing the rgh? You should do so after removing from the cage for the first time. I personally change mine once a year after that.
Pics could be helpful. Seems odd that it would be an install issue with it lasting a couple hours before freezing.
You could also try clearing your cache on the hdd. M$ recommends doing it 5 times consecutively and clearing one connected storage devices cache clears all connected storage devices caches.

yes i did the thermal paste so i just took the xbox abart and looked id it was clitching and its not theres no green light flashing but the red lights on

Your blue wire seems to be contacting both that cap and that resistor. That could cause some problems right there.

That looks better. Now try playing off disk and see if the same problem happens.
hi i tryed to do the yellow wire again as it was just conecting but its not solding on it now so is there a alternative point for the yellow wire if so where is is plz

heres one i did in the past.youll have to scrape paint off the via point there and solder wire there,or get a postfix adapter (prolly easier for ya).
hi i managed to re solder the yellow wire back but now when i turn it on i get the green glitch 1time and but not booting i been all through the settings and dips and no joy the only 1 that it gave me the green light on was on dip 3 thats when it just did it 1time but no boot

i got it to boot when it was out of the case but when i put it back in it stopped booting again so i took it back out and it didnt boot up again so not sure whats going on with it

Make sure you don't have any excess solder that can be touching the case when back in as it can cause a short

also make sure that ur not pinching the cpu rst wire when putting it back together.
hi sorry not been on about the problem for a bit was doing a other abox but yes it still freezers after about 2h if i put a disc in and let it run then i still cant get it to glitch straight after it freezers and i turned my fan up to 85% so any1 know how to stop it from freezing after 2h plz
