need help

allright i have verison 1.6 i instaled it and i get frag if i go to back up the bios screen comes on and it does not say read only like if its in back up so i don't what to do i have been working on it since christmas and i need some help all my soldder points are perfict so don't know what is

Not sure what problem u are describing..
I take it that it frags after flash and reboot..if so then u probably have the wrong/corrupt bios
solder points are ok
You can get backup bios up..

Get a fresh download
boot backup ...set switches on,on,off,off,off and flash X3 2913 V16plus.

you get it from the usual places.

Exactly, I think it is a bad bios problem. Seems a lot 1.6 owners has this problem.

The usual X3 bios build is not working for 1.6!!!!!!!

nope i'm not saying the source is corrupt.
the usual sources for the bios are fine...everyone gets the bios from here..if that was bad then evryones would be bad..

what i'm saying is many flash the wrong bios or corrupt it in burning to cd ..

no need for sticky ..the correct bios revision to use is posted on xecuter web site front page

I hae the X3 2913 V16plus running fine on my box. Make sure you don't have a 1.6b, if you do i have read that you need to use the 3.0.3 flash bios which is not the one in the backup bank, it's a 3.0.1 same as the bank 1 1MB.
