RGH Need Information about QSB

Well will the Phat QSB delivered with the cables to read/write to the nand? If not which cables do I need and can I get them in germany or the uk?

So far my list includes:

Coolrunner Rev.B
Nand-X to Coolrunner update cable
CK3 to Nand-X update cable
Phat QSB

The cables to read the NAND come with the NAND X.

The cables to read and write the nand come with the nand-x. If you have the nand-x you already have the cables.

When did you buy your NANDX? It may already be updated to 3.0 code.

I bought it around 1.5 years ago and Nandpro tells me that it is not updated. But the cables are no more. The connector to the nand-x got damaged after the first three months!

Also would a 0.8mm solderpoint be OK or is this too big for the two points which are a bit smaller.

If your NANDX is damaged and you are missing the QSB cable you may want to consider just getting a new one. You will not have to spend $15 on the update cables, $5 on the QSB cable, for $20 more you can get a whole new NANDX which is already updated.

Martin C mentioned that he uses a 0.8mm tip so will be fine. (But he is a soldering Jedi)
