[SOLVED] Need solution for 0022 error

Hi, i need information how to solve 0022 error. it's my customer's jasper but i need some information to solve it.

here's the current situation.

1. i turned the xbox on, and after 38 seconds, i get 0022 error
2. i opened the case, and i found traces that it has been RGH-ed before.
3. I didn't find any soldering trace on PLL_Bypass point, clean as new.
4. i removed R7R17 resistor and measure, it is perfect 10k, and resoldered back.
5. I measured the resistance at C5D5, read 2.3 ohm
6. Measured the resistance on capacitor blocks on the right of the CPU, and read average 5.3ohm (>4 ohm)
7. I tried to dump its nand, and it is on CB 6750 -
8. then i flashed xell, then install coolrunner, i get debug light but mostly once, and sometimes 3x blink.

i am suspecting a bad / wrong nand...because i dont know much information about it.. is that correct?

i want to know what the next step?

Without xell fuses it could be many things. Bad nand is just 1 possibility.

well i think , it has dead CPU, because i boot it and the CPU stays cool.

try boot it without heatsink and see if it gives overheat error. If not, then confirm dead cpu.
Replace them if you know how to reball.

i have tried to reflash RGH2 ECC for jasper, and it gives me error 0001 after several weak glitch (very2 weak glitch - maybe about 20% of led power - dimmed and small )

then i run the console about 5 minutes on stock nand, no heat coming up from the CPU - but GPU was very hot... I think I can confirm it is a dead CPU.
i will have to find a Jasper CPU and reball it

I could be off base here, but I believe the keyvault is CPU Specific, so if you attempt this, I do not think it will work live again, unless you get a keyvault with the CPU. I could be wrong though.

If you want to use it on live, you will need a nanddump from the console that is using the donor cpu. The kv is encrypted with it's cpu key, and need to find out the correct cb and ldv.

its not just on live, a retail nand wont boot if the KV is modified or replaced.

since the console is not modded by me, i dont have enough information. although i have checked that the nand is retail, but i dont trust it 100% because the previous modder may as well flashed fake retail nand.

i removed the cpu heatsink, and the cpu getting hot and it is overheating in about 10 seconds, so i am guessing the CPU is all right.

well, i actually kinda lost here. maybe i will return the console to my customer.

From what I've read, you said it has cb 6750. Try a RGH ecc and not a RGH2 ecc and see what happens. CB 6750 is a normal RGH, so you may need to rewire the CR for RGH1 also. Forgot to mention, program the CR with the right timing file too.

i had this error over than 10 times .
and only 1 time after 35 sec.
after reflow GPU console boot fine .

edit : solved by replacing cpu.

as i said earlier, the console did "glitch" but it didnt boot xell, so, i managed to replace the CPU (yes, the CPU, not the GPU), and did RGH1 wiring, it booted Xell.
Got its CPU key, generate its NAND and voila...solved.

You do know that you can read and write to the nand do you? You dont need to replace the tsop. And of course he flashed the paired nand or made a new nand image for it.

CPU only without NAND chip because....

I couldnt read the nand from the dead 512mb board - board is cheap dead, i dont know how to repair it (not regulator, not mosfet, not hana, not usb, not sb, not resistor near hana, not anything -- because it is a retail xbox, never rgh/jtagged before)

The board which is working now is 16mb jasper. so i just took its cpu (from 512mb jasper) , and transplanted it to 16mb jasper.

did rgh1 wiring, got its cpu key, generate fake nand , and it boots perfectly.

what how? the cpu is exactly the same. just replace the cpu, and boot xell.
only differ in their nands.

You can make a 64mb nand to 16mb, in this case OP made a new nand from scratch.

all you have to do is replace the CPU, and boot xell to get its cpu key (remember........you have to use donor nand to to this)

and with cpu key intact, just generate new nand, you can add seasonings if you like (such as custom serial number, custom region, etc)
