Alright I'm gonna need some explaining concerning enable0800 img.
I'm trying to flash my samsung ms28 and I don't want to use the VCC trick. Unfortunately I have Intel ICH5 on P5P800 motherboard so bad flashing is not an option either.
I read about an ISO file though, enable0800.
The guide says it's used to bypass a FirmGuard something for firmware versions 4.x or 5.x.
So I wonder, can the enable0800 be used to flash an xbox drive for someone who doesn't have a VIA chipset, regardless of the firmware version?
and lastly, how can you see the firmware version?
