I have installed the R-Jtag and Demon Phat last night. Everything was going good even had a rater score of ten. So, it was getting late and I put the xbox back together now the xbox will not power on. I have taken the xbox back apart and looked at everything. There are no broken wires or anything. I have checked continuity between all demon points on the bottom with all of the points in the demon rebuild points on the top. Everything checked out great. Checked continuity between all wired nand points (RX, TX, 5v, i2c SDA signal, and Kiosk) all check out great. I did check the demon before install and the r/w functions worked great. I have been at this thing since 9:30 this morning and it is now 4 o' clock. I am hoping someone can help with this. This morning I did have the demon nand booting but the retail nand was giving me a 0010 error so I redid some of the points on the bottom of the board (the nand points on the demon). After I resoldered that it was the retail and demon would boot if I turned the console on with the demon nand enabled then let the console boot and press the demon switch to switch to retail. It would then boot both nands. But I proceeded to put the xbox back together and now I don't get anything no power on either nand. I have resoldered all points on the demon and on the R-Jtag. I get no power on either the retail nand nor the demon nand. Please help me with this.

I would use a little flux and redo most points and cut off some of the exposed wire at each end.

Try to put some kapton tape or black tape on the metal chassis where the demon goes, maybe you have something touching the chassis when you put it together..

Also check his point because it kind of looks like they are really close and could be touching..

There is nothing wrong.

Pad K is connected to the pin closest to it (KIOSK).

OP: Have you checked for continuity between each DemoN test point to it's corresponding NAND pin on top of the board?

Yeah I sure have I checked every solder point from the DemoN to each corresponding point on top of the mobo. I used the DemoN Phat rebuild points as a guide to know what point was to what pin/resistor.

This must be a serious problem. I went through today and redid all of my solder joints on the demon and still have the same problem as they look better than they did and I rechecked all nand points to the top of the motherboard. Everything checks out. I don't know what else to do. I hope this is not a problem with my southbridge. I did notice that the tx and rx on the demon don't match up with the tx and rx points on the qsb on the top of the board according to the install guide the purple wire goes to TX but if checked with the qsb on the top of the board it is actually soldered to RX and the Yellow wire is soldered to TX. Is this a big deal? I am guessing not since no one else is having this problem but I just thought that I would post my findings.

What do you mean it is a DemoN install so the stock nand is still on the retail nand, and the jtag nand is on the DemoN.

EDIT: Please Someone Help me! I am banging my head against the wall on this one. The pc will still read/write the nands. So everything is still getting power. Something is just stopping that power short when hitting the power button on the rol board. I have looked at every resistor and capacitor between there and the DemoN and back again. I just can not figure this out. I thought I was getting better at these things but this is most definitely testing me. I would love to hear from Martin C or Some other high ranking guru on this.

OK so I wrote original nand back onto the motherboard nand and then wrote the original nand to the DemoN. Now everything powers up. So, I put the glitch nand back on the DemoN and it still powers on, but I am getting RROD when I start the Xbox on the original nand. However when I start the Xbox on the DeomN nand then press the nand swich button then restart the console it works fine. Any thoughts on this?

EDIT: Well sad news the I removed the DemoN and the R-Jtag and still getting 0022 error on retail nand so I believe that the xbox is dead as I don't have the means to reball the GPU.
