Need some help with samread error

Hi guys... I am having probs with samread xxxxxxx xxxxx all I get back straight after typing it in is.... Port: 1f0, Master/Slave: b0 then it does nothing.. I have to cntrl c to get out.
I have the recommended via pci SATA card and msinfo recognises it etc. My drive is a Samsung ms25.

Any ideas?

make sure you have installed the latest drivers but only install the drivers not RAID

Ensure RAID is turned off in the BIOS if your motherboard supports it.

ensure you use the port at the back of the card the one nearest the front of the pc (assuming you have the VIA vt6421)

plug everything in power the pc wait till it goes to the dos prompt then power the 360 on.
