GENERAL Need some help with this XBOX I bought

I am new at modding here have modded other "stuff" so I can do this but just have a few questions:

I have just bought a XBOX360 pro USB and a Scorpion Probe.
I have 2 XBOXes
Just bought a "test" play box not sure the version but it did not come with a power brick or AV cable.
It doe not have HDMI but uses the newer brick it has 20 gig drive and it show Manuf date 0f 2006 has Benq drive.
I have a newer one has HDMI 250 gig drive and a Liteon dvd.

Couple of questions:
will the pwer brick off my newer XBOX power brick work on the older unit?
where is the cheapest place to buy a AV cable for my older XBOX.

Can I buy a new Liteon dvd for the newer xbox and take the dvd key from my old liteon drive and "clone it to the new Liteon dvd..
Will that work?
Would the Benq drive I have be a good drive to rip my store bought games...

Thanks for any advice/help...

Use this guide to identify your motherboard type and power requirements.

If your non-HDMI motherboard is a 2006 manufacture date then its a xenon and takes a 203w power brick. This will also power all future phat 360 revisions. If your power brick is 175w then it will power all Falcon/opus consoles onwards but not backwards (xenon/zephyr) and so on.

A Benq is fine for backing up xgd2 and xgd3 games.

Any xbox AV cable can be used, they are not revision specific.

What is the matter with your Liteon drive? Yes u can transfer key from one to the other (make sure the firmware matches for your current dash if retail) but it is not always necessary (sticky tray error/ duff laser).
