LITEON DG-16D2S Need to update to LT+ 2.0 HELP!

Currently my drive is flashed to LT+ 1.6 but i want to update to LT+2.0.
My problem is that i dont have my dummy.bin files from my old flash
how can i get my DVD key to verify now?
its a liteon 83850C v1 drive but flashed into 7485 now...

Use a probe 3 and get the key via the PMT method.

wat if i dont want to spend money on a probe? coz i flashed it without any hardware except the xbox itself :/

Then you should have kept the dummy.bin!!!!

Did you flash it on the same PC as this and the same Windows install?

well, its on my other pc at work, soo if i have the dummy.bin then its all fine right?
and my other pc i intially flashed it on was winxp, now im running win7 on this one.

Yes. You then verify the dummy.bin against the drive.

can you tell me step by step on how to verify dummy.bin with the drive? i flashed mine half a year ago, kinder forgot how i did it :/

Load the dummy.bin as source, right click source area and choose verify key.

i would also revert to stock, wait for the upcoming dash update today before reflashing to lt 2.0, your drive will then become fw 02510c.

also if your going to be backing up any ap25/xgd3 games they will not work until lt3.0 is released

the problem you have got is you need to update the dash in order to play xgd3 backups. with microsofts new dash update they have moved the ap25 secdata on the disk so until new xbc or lt3.0 are released its just xgd3 originals im afraid:mad2:
