need x3lcd dimensions

i'm guessing this is in the right forum since it has to do with installing an x3 product..

but basically what i need to know is what are the dimensions of the lcd panel? like if i was flush mounting it in a panel, what size hole would it sit nice and snug in? building a dual hdd mini-atx cased xbox and need to know if the lcd will fit where i want to put it before i order the thing.

Well, why dont you just get before you fit it ???

Trust me when I say that you will need to offer up the XLCD a load of times to get it to fit 100% in the hole you are making. Especially to allow for wire routing and stuff.

having it fit in the new case is more important than actually having it... if it doesn't work i don't want it just sitting around my desk gathering dust.

not to piss on your bipolar parade... if this site is so worthless to you, why are sitting in front of your computer with the forum opened and waiting on someone to respond to your post? seems to me that [A: Noone knows the dimensions] or [B: Maybe you should post the same question over at xbox-scene where people are more into modding the xbox.] I may be wrong here, but this forum seems driven more towards people who cant even get the chip installed right, or flaming the ones that cant seem to get it right.... not even close to being about modding.

well, if i had the xlcd i would measure it for someone. not because i'm the reincarnation of jesus, but just to be helpful

i can understand his irritation, there's GOT to be someone around with enough spare time to note down the dimensions of his xlcd. oh well, guess i'm the only good samaritan around

i looked at a few pictures of some xbox's modded with the lcd and did some 'guess measuring' looks to be about 3.5in length by 1.5in height. you would have to have about an half inch in width just to have enough room to fit it between the case and the hard drive.

i didnt say i didnt feel his pain, but he seems to be getting pretty lippy and just adding to the bs that seems to plaque this forum. honestly, i cant tell if he really wants to deminsions or just wants people to snap back at him with the same attitude...

none the less, those dimensions are my best guess, like i said in my earlier post, try finding a modding site to post the question on, i am sure you will get a better response.
