Nero 6 OEM

Right I gues al lot of you guys have seen that I have been having trouble getting my xbox to read the discs that I burn, well I am now thinking that it could be the software that I am using that is to blame.
I am using Nero 6 OEM and when I start it, it says that this version of nero has known problems with this version of windows (XP), do you guys think that this is causing all my problems??? If so, then what is a good burning program to use as all the tutorials use nero?

OK so I tried another program (Recordnow Deluxe 7) and burnt the slayers auto installer ISO onto CD-RW, now this is where it all goes funky. I put the disc in and this time the xbox actually managed to read the disc BUT instaed of coming up any sort of program it went onto the audio bit and started playing the disc as if it was an audio CD (it just made a whole lot of crazy nioses, kinda like a spectrum loading a game)!!!!!!! What the hell is that all about????
Someone please please help as I am ready to throw my xbox through my window
