Dont be a bitch. Ive never seen the NESXBOX done before so not everyone can be as badass as you and know everything thats been done. If your gonna bash go to the Xenium forums with the other BITCHES.

wow, i wasnt dissing on anyone, no need for everyone to flip out, all i was saying is that ive seen it before, i personally love NES and the older consoles and i like the ideaof someone useing a shell for something else. u guys need to realize that i was just making a statement towards the idea. and its not like i was ruining his thread with one post, u guys on the other hand are making it out to be more than it actuallly is, i was giving my opinion

Sorry for the lack of updates, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and the wait for my HDD Laptop adapter have slowed things down a bit. Bear with me guys!

Putting an XBOX inside of an NES isn't original, I understand that, but I would have thought by now [since this has been done so many times] someone would be a little creative by adding what makes up 25% of the XBOX, the DVD-Drive. I'm sorry that people have done this similar project before me, I'm also sorry that I decided to be a little innovative and thought the DVD-Drive actually should be part of the final project.

TINY UPDATE:

Got around to adding the Power and Eject button extensions for the front part of the case you guys voted for in the General Chat forum. Not only that, but I decided to give my baby VGA support, so I wired up a VGA port to the MOBO. :)


These are the buttons that will be attached to the front right top part of the NES case, as voted by suma' you guys.


The VGA port will be mounted on the lower back right next to the A/V port.

Like I said guys, updates are slow, but it will be done! My deadline is November the 5th, still got a few things to pick up from Home Depot. Thanks for all of the views and encouragement!

Go for it man, pretty sweet stuff. But one important note, it doesn't exactly run at a decent speed, so for anyone wanting to use Windows 98 on their XBOX [which is a completely different story, PM and I will guide you, please don't make this thread turn into Windows 98 discussion], a RAM upgrade may be in order to set it straight.

Small Update

Finally got around to buying the Krylon Fusion spray paint colors Black and Green for the casing. Also picked up the Wire-Mesh to cover open places, which will also be painted green. I'm going out of town for this weekend, but I'll be back Sunday to start working more on the case. Peace.

Nah, the dremmeling on the case made it turn out be kinda ugly with all of the cuts and parts with the broken plastic look after peeling off the melted plastic from dremmeling. Sorry to dissapoint you? lol...

Well I was inconsoulable for about 10 minutes there... but then I found something shiney to play with so I'm all better. :p


Just put a friggin ninja star on it and be done with it!!!:D

Alright guys, lastest case shot.
I didn't have any spare Ninja Stars laying around because 2 of them ar ein my cat, one in the wall that I can't get out, and one was taken away by this other guy who was trying to make an XBOX with like....a Scorpion resin or something...I don't know, anyways...

I got a Pez dispenser, built in PSP, Operation [!!!], some pliers, an Alien resin, and pair of Fingernail clippers. This is gonna be one hell of an XBOX guys!

Hey Kemo, I loved the idea, and what a coincidence, I saw a fresh NES cardboard box in some ladies house who is moving, she gave it to me... the day after I wanted to make this, I get a NES, what a trip... after 15 years...

Anyways, I'm makin one... should be all right...
