Yes, that is the standby clk point, which is needed for cr4 r-jtag+. If doing rgh2+, then it doesnt matter.

Yep, you solder it right to the copper point just below it at the end of your arrow

from what I can see in the guide im gonna say yes as it doesn't state that its not soldered and it looks like there is a point underneath

Ok thanks guys! That would probably explain why it wasn't working lol.

I shall fix that and give it another crack, see what happens. I did solder that when I first attempted to chip it and I don't know why I didn't do it this time I'm sure there was a reason lol.

So just to double check, this is the correct point? I know that it looks like there is almost a bridge to the point on the right but that is just light reflecting off the flux.

Standard options (no tuning or tweaking done), second (?) glitch every time!

Green light on CR4 flashes once when Power button is pressed, then flashes again, then console boots to Xell! Exactly 10 seconds from pressing power button to Xell appearing on screen!

Now install the demon, so you can still use this box on live. It appears that you have the required skill to install it. And now they are only $20, it is worth every penny. Hell it was worth every penny when I got mine, and that was like $60 then. lol. Enjoy your RGH console.

I'm going to leave the Demon for now, just pretty this one up I actually wasn't expecting to get it second box so have like 4 more unmolested ones left, and to be honest only reason why I failed first box was waiting until stupid o'clock in the morning before attempting it lol. My Demon cost me about $40 (I think) a couple weeks ago, going to be grabbing a few in the upcoming sales though.

Once I know what I'm doing a little better I might do a video guide for installs showing every point, just so it's a little clearer for those who (like me) have the skillset but have never actually made the leap and brought the stuffs I haven't actually seen any video guides/tutorials for Phat consoles...
