i have a 1.6 crystal xbox during an upgrade with an x3 i pop the motherboard so i brought a working modified just had to solder 1 wire and add the x3 chip the only problem was when i switch it on it came up with 06 error in the cornerand said call customer service now brought a new drive 160gb thought that would work it came up with 15 error can some one help  this is doing my head in if you can help email with your answer @ [email protected] please

i put the xbox harddrive in my computer went to properties and this ID number was given 24.84g24/4457572d414d4e39323839353238_034_0_0_0_0

if anyone knows how to remove the id so my xbox can pick it up because i'm led to believe this if that is removed you can hook it up to any motherboard

you get error 6 because you have to unlock the hard drive from the old xbox before you put it into the new xbox.

Error 15 doesn't exist to my knowledge

I doubt anyone is really looking at this.

The JTAG hack took almost 4 years to find.

I'd say you are out of luck

Nope it doesn't matter. Anything above 7371 equals no jtag.
