New 2.0.14717 Dashboard - Security Changes

The new 2.0.14717 dashboard is being rolled out globally this week and so far we have seen possible changes to the CB that may affect RGH consoles.

As always we suggest that you do NOT update until it has been investigated further.

In the meantime if anyone has an RGH console and they have updated - please post your test results and changes (both FW and RGH). We require the new dash update files both slim and phat (all versions).

i shall get dumps of my slim live box tomorrow.then i take the update and dump the nands again.

was holding out this one for the demon.

The strange thing is it seems only a minority of consoles have received the prompt to update. Either your console got it or it didn't. It's been 36 hours since people first noticed it and there hasn't been "waves" of the dash update being rolled out since then.

I will have Jasper BB/512 14699 NANDS and 14717 NANDS with CPU KEY as soon as the new update rolls out in my area.

apparantly you don't, so let me numb it down for you.

IF it DOES change the CB, it might make the RGH NOT working anymore.
if that's the case, what good will a demon do......

Over the Firmware, no, both XGD2 and XGD3 backups boot. The only thing I do not know is if they blocked Truncate burns but I do not care :rolleyes2:

I setup this Jasper for Live and it has not prompted for an update yet. As soon as it updates I will have before and after NANDS with CPU Key.

FW has nothing to do with CB thats JTAG/RGH
