New 3024 Bios!!!

I have an xecuter 3 in a 1.6 xbox. I have it flashed with the 1959 bios and want to install tthe new 3024 bios. When i go to bios tools and click flash 1mb spot to 5678 it flashes but then when it boots up it turns off and boots to the 1959 bios. what can i do? also i have tried to reflash it the way i did it the first time i ever flashed the chip and that still didnt work

there are 2 versions of the bios one is 3029 and the other is the one you need being that you have a 1.6 box the 3029_vplus or something like that if you installed the regular one that is only for 1.0-1.5 need to reflash.

when i go to xbins, i only see the 3024 bios

i was just on xbins and saw the 3029 there...the x3 3029 (v1.0-1.5) and the x3 3029v16plus...its there for sure

the new released bios is 3029 I believe as announce on the front page. Sounds like you ftp flash to banks 5678. You need to configure your switches to banks 5678 (off on off off on your switch) for it to boot up to new bios.
