I knew there was a reason I stayed up until 4am last night. As part of some hardware conference or other, Warner Bros debuted the first gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins, and it looks rather good. For one night only, supervillain the Black Mask offers the criminals of Gotham a bounty of $50,000,000 for killing the Bat. Lots of gloriously brutal combat ensues, which, as promised, looks very similar to the combat system of Arkham City. If you pay close attention, you can also catch a glimpse at some of Origins' new features, including the Crime Scene system and Remote Claw gadget. What do you think of the trailer? The absence of Kevin Conroy's voice aside, it all looks and sounds good to me.
