HI guys, OKay I updated the switch the newest beta today... after installing I simply went to check the hbmenu store that loaded then an error happened.. I had to boot down by holding the button until it finally shut off!

Next problem.. NOTHING I did could get it to boot... (I have to note I did have auto rcm enabled... after 2 hours i was ready to give up... I then said... let me try copy the boot.bin and license.dat to a fresh micro sd card... and BOOM it worked!

I disabled autorcm... now everything is fine (right now using the 128 GB and those 2 files.

I insert my 400 GB Micro sd... and STILL doesn't boot... but boots perfectly using the 128 gb.

The 400 GB is working perfectly... using the PC.. so that's a plus... my question is.. what FILE do I have to delete from the 400 Gb card... to make it work.. has to be a file making this happen... the error happened in the HBmenu store... has to be something causing that error where it doesn't BOOT!

UPDATE:

I removed sxos.upd and copied license.dat and boot.dat

This time I updated to 2.5... rebooted and guess what... NOTHING! Same as before...

MY fix again... go to the (thankfully saved boot.dat and license.dat) Then it works.. ONLY on 2.4 cannot update to 2.5 anyone knows why? I'm on 6.1

Thanks for the reply... I got it to work but cannot get the "beta" only 2.4 ... My sd card is 400gb but I do have a very fast cpu/SSD ... so that's doable.

I'm going to update firmware on the switch from 6.01 to 6.2.. THEN TRY the update.... to the Sx os Beta (never know)

Got my nand backed up in about 5 places... just to be on the safe side!

Just glad to have gotten the Switch working and back to normal :)

Thanks again, I appreciate it.

It doesn't matter even if you format your last SD card. I did it in my Switch and didn't work out. I had to change my SD too.

I didn't need to format my sd card... I removed the update file manually... and it works...

Just delete sxos.upd (it's located on the root of the micro sd card...:)

Good luck
