Is the new bios going to have anything to do with Kai, because I have heard a lot of speculation about that? I can't wait for this god damn "feature" so I can finally decide if I should replace my Xenium.

and our new bios is more than just one "feature"
if you cant decide on upgrading from a Xenium to an X3 then i doubt you'd use any of the features at all

How is the bios coming xecuter? You said about a week ago you had it flashed and its f'ing sweet. Im excited about it and can't wait to see just how f'ing sweet it is! Also, any news on hard drive firmware hacks? I read on the front page awhile back you guys were going to look into it.

i guess i am not sure why you guys are freaking out about the new bios. is there something in 1959 that doesnt work for you? to me the current release is f'ing amazing.
I used to have a Xenium, and man we bitched up and down on their boards about getting XOS2. this was because so many of us were having issues with 1.x. (and when they released 2.0 that was just a whole other can of worms.)

sorry, I know that the Xecuter is a far superior chip... I just was a noob back in the day when the xenium was the most advanced on the market. When I was talking about Kai, I meant within the bios, maybe I was just dreaming, but I saw in the TeamXlink forums that Kai was currently being developed so that it would only be required to be plugged into the internet...
My Xenium hasn't failed me, but I am getting sick of all the TeamXodus crap. I have 2 Xecuter 3's sitting in my basement waiting to get installed, and I just said wtf, mine as well just use my xenium. Not the greatest product, nor team, but it works.

I'm going to laugh... when the new bios comes out... And it has a feature 99% of you guys dont want. (Not putting down Xecuter...)

N00b question, however - How come... there are no ways to emulate Xbox live servers? I mean... you look at games like Diablo... they have Bnet, where you can get on a server and play free. Theres no way to do this for Xbox... will there ever be a way? 99% of the good games are live games.... I been hoping this is the new feature... but hey... 99.9% unlikely One can wish for heaven....

99% of the good games are live games.... I been hoping this is the new feature... but hey... 99.9% unlikely One can wish for heaven.... Hey, it will happen... memory on chips is growing every month (it seems)... with all that space, you could have a program, such as Kai, running in the background. It's not inconcievable.

Just read the latest update on the front page! I went straight to "the usual places" before I realized the new bios is not out yet. Screw it, just cut the feature from this release and/or release it with a bug and put a fix out later. That new layout looks awesome! Much easier on the eye than the original!
