new bios features are cheat systems, at last a real action replay where you can search and get infinite lives, time, etc..woohoo
Personally I ain't dis'in the guy himself , or the work he does , or the time it takes for new firmware or products or the quality of those once they are available. In fact I am more than happy with all of these things and would use T.X. products over any other !!!
But...
These 'delays' could be avoided and hence all the bullshit that is caused by those 'delays' ( including even this post ) by not releasing info till things are ready and using news like 'Now available from authorised stockists.......' and 'Now online for download.......' !
Surely each and everyone of you can see this would stop all of this bullshit from happening , better for us as we dont get frustrated by missed deadlines , better for the devs/team as they don't get bitched at all day by us mortals
and better PR for the products as a whole as none of the so called 'competion' can flame the T.X. products because of late deliveries ( which at present seems to be the only ammo they have against us ) !

New bios as in latest available to public or new bios as in the one that hasn't been released. What I read was the manual would be based off the 1959 which in my book is the older bios and doesn't make much sense if the new bios will be out any time soon.Ikarasu said:

The problem is that expectations are not being managed very well. This will lead to more and more disgruntled users in search of outlets. Your argument that xecuter might somehow rethink his telling us about a new bios etc... because of this is flawed in that you don't take into account what happens when a new teamxecuter product is anticipated. It builds what is known as buzz this buzz helps to attrack new users to the brand xecuter. This is a very good thing for teamxecuter. What is a bad thing is when it gets strung out for to long you can actually hurt your user base. I think the tollerence of the teamxecuter user base is much toucher than in other market segments but the potential is still there.
I'm not one to begrudge teamxecuter for making money off their endeavors I think they should all be millionaires by now for the work they have done. I guess what calms me about the situation, although I am very excited about the potential release, I know it ultimatly hurts xecuter more in the short term than it hurts me to keep pushing back on the bios release not to mention the potential permanent damage of a problem bios after the fact. I feel for their current predicament but I don't think flamming the users who are unhappy with the situation will make it any better.

TeamX Doesn't rely on "promises" in order to get people to buy the product - They buy the product because of it's extensive features, and it's well known quality. I HIGHLY doubt that anyone would be turned away because a bios is a little bit late - So my comment... for go and buy an xenium if you don't like it, it may be childish, but if you cant stand X3.... what else do you want to do? Waiting around and complaining doesn't do nothing - And honestly... 99.9% Of the forum users here (The people you guys like to call "Ass kissers" Get so tired of all the complaints. They've even been turned into people reffering to the X3 bios as a "unicorn" something which will never happen that we all just want. Thats not even just a complaint about the delay... it's insinuating Xecuter is lying, and there is no new bios - Which makes everyone here angry, and I'm sure they'd much rather the users who are turning this bored into nothing but flamebait.... be off at another forum.
Everyone wants the new bios - Some people can't wait longer then others. It's ok to be impatient, ok to want something so much - But honestly.... what are you gaining by coming here and complaining? If anything, it's just delaying the bios even more. To me... postings which are complaining, are just immature, childish, and a waste of time. Are we still 5 years old? If not... why act like it? It's about time you guys learn... not everything in life goes as planned, get over it.... Don't complain when everything does not go your way. If you guys get this upset over a stupid bios release... I actually don't think that any of the posts here will either help the bios to arrive faster nor delay it further. Im pretty sure that Xecuter will release it when he thinks it's ready to face the public.

Check out the phrasing on that he is talking about "as we were about to post" and then he lists out those items. This indicates to me it is something they were going to release, not a part of the current contest, not to say it won't be a part of future contests. This may still mean that they want two bioses and manuals around and for what reason I can't pretend to know. But as of right now not knowing the next releases features I can say it doesn't make sense. The new bios however might shed some light on why some people might hang on to the old one or potential similarities that cross the two interfaces.Ikarasu said:

I can't believe the amount of "TeamX is killing their rep" posts because the "maybe" dates don't pan out. There was never a definate date, just "I hope I can" dates.
If TeamX were killing their rep people would stop posting about it. They would move on to another chip, another BIOS, another forum. People, me included, are hungry for it.
TeamX delivers, has delivered, and will deliver (Late or on time... LOL!).
There is NO question (in my mind anyway), though, that TeamX will give us more than the others and more than expected.

Well, I did my mindless rant and shut up on the topic truth be told the only thing I had issues with the current bios was the FTP issue (informed has been resolved in upcoming release) so on that I'll just shut my hole on the subject and see it when I see it.

While ever this thread stays open, its a place for people to rant without cluttering up the forum with other "I want my new X3 BIOS monkey ******s. I paid for a chip and I DEMAND an update. You promised it last Christmas. What will the new feature be. Can we have BIOS screen shots. How can I download the new BIOS" threads.
