Ok here is the whole story, I had a softmodded xbox. The drive failed and I need to install a new one. I discovered that the backup of the lock and unlock keys that I had was MIA. I was told the only way to get the machine back up and running was to install a modchip. Ok I have done that.......I bought and installed an X3CE. When I turn the xbox on the red light comes on and I get error 16 on the screen. Now I know that I need to flash the chip but how do I get the chip enabled? Does it require a working HD in the xbox?
