New Control Panel LCD Problem

Hi,

Just installed the new control panel, got a problem with the lcd display. It only shows the correct display in the top left corner, the rest of the screen is filled with squares. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is it a faulty lcd or faulty lcd cable?

yeah im having the same problem too.. it only displays the correct display when u hold its edges down..

i have cut the metal from behind it out and its still giving me the same problem.

any suggestions?

try covering the back of the lcd with electric tape. it worked for me.

Could be faulty/broken/bent pins on either the cable or the socket - check em with a magnifying glass - failing that, it sounds like the display is faulty - send it back ?
