New drives

Do any of the elites have samsung or hitachi drives. or all of them are benQ. i want to know before i go purchase an elite.

u have the best chance of getting a hackable one if u go with a preowned. I bought 2 new ones from sears and both came with benQ's

isnt they creating a firmware for benQ and if so do someone have any idea when it will be out. i also want to know if its possible to swap out drives. for instance if it do have a benQ could i swap it out with a samsung.

yes it is possible but u would have to crack open the benQ and do some soldering to be able to dump its firmware and retrive the drive key, then spoof the samsung

for instance could i use the spoof thing for a benQ drive to make it think its a samsung, or something like that.
