Shock news: there is a footballer on the front cover of this year's most prominent football game, and that footballer is Tottenham Hotspur's Gareth Bale (accompanied by Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi, who graced last year's cover). EA Sports has now released the official FIFA 14 UK cover art in full, plus a video detailing how it recreated Bale's technique in-game. Our man Gareth is a two-time PFA Player of the Year winner, and one of the world's foremost sportsmen. "The players on the front cover since I was a kid have obviously been legends of the game," he observed in an announcement post. "It's a great honor for me and I'm very proud of it."
