OK I know this has prob been gone over but I looked and can't find anything. I am trying to get my first box up and running, needed to flash my bios so I went to flash 1892 bios lastnight and half way through power went off. Ok so when I went to turn it back on all I got was it rebooting, pressed the eject pwer at the same time with it on on off off and finally got it to flash, now when it comes on it still does the rebooting thing, DID I KILL IT?

Ok 1, why are u flashing an old bios? Get onto XBINS and download v3029.
Boot to FlashBIOS and reflash with 3029. Also is your xbox a v1.6?
I dont think that version is compatable with v1.6a\b.
If it is a v1.6, use the v16plus bios file in the 3029 rar.

ok here I go with the dumb qusetion how can I tell the verison (v1.6)?
that is the version someone gave me. I cant ever connet to get the bios, it always says login failed

think I am getting somewhere now, I just hope I can stop it for cutting on and off after flashing
you need to do what ureterral said and see what version of xbox you have and then use the appropriate xbox version for it. If you have flashbios 3.0.0, I bet you have the older X3 and not X3CE but it still works if you don't have xbox version 1.6b, which would require flashbios 3.0.3 to work.
I suspect you have installed the wrong bios version for your xbox version so that is why you have FRAG. Again, find out what xbox version it is. Press power and eject buttons at the same time until your x3 cp turns purple and flashbios comes up. Flash with the appropriate bios for your xbox version with switches on on off off off. That should fix your problem

ok I have v1.6 and tried again with the bios I THOUGHT would work it goes through everything perfect until it rebbots and then FRAG,
