New install Blank screen

Let me start by sayin i'm a noobie...
Just purchased an X3 installed it.
everything looked good, put it back together... when i turn it on i get flashing red and green lights and a compleatly blank screen.
I have read the threads but was unable to find a solution to this problem.
could someone please help me with this!
works fine when i do an M$ start up

I've had this problem too. Check this thread I found my answers there. Your problem is FRAG. It was LPC 13 & 15 being a bad solder job and a couple of messed flashes to boot. :x Make sure you select the right bank. Then boot to backup (pwr + ejct) and flash it with X3 1957 bios. Turn it back on and you should see the X3 Live config screen. If you don't and it's still FRAG`n triple check your solder or get a pro to do it.

What does this mean? Does it mean just recently XBL implemented new procedure for finding flashed Xboxes or what?

Not very clear. Oh, but that's great that LT is above these "checks." Now if only we could use it.

im taking it as good news... its stating that all previous firmwares will be detected and banned, LT still remains undetectable... now we just continue to wait 8O

I believe they're referring to the checks that ixtreme performs before it allows the games to be booted... IxtremeLT won't have any of these, therefore it will be your responsibility to make sure the games you are playing are properly stealthed

According to F***ing whom?? That is what I would like to know. That is what c4 and his boys say. I have been on for a very long time now and I have not been detected or banned. Sure I may be flagged or I may not be. No one is really at liberty to say here, not even c4 and his bois. What happened last time. We were supposed to be taken care of and it was claimed that the old firmware was undetectable until it happened right. Seems like a repeat to me here, that is what c4 and his bois are claiming. Dont get me wrong I respect them to the fullest, but I dont honestly think they can definitively say that all fw is detectable when many people are still online and going strong. As far as I can see, I believe people get banned when dashboard updates occur (assuming you did everything correct as far as modding your X and verifying your games).

Seriously though this just seems like a repeat to me.

And all you get from c4 andhis bois are ...what...a few f****ing messages that are spaced out like a month each on twitter. cmon now guys cmon.

You seem to be very angry. Don't forget who brought the fw to the table. C4 is really the only source we got. In other words, QUIT YOUR BITCHIN!

The "Checks" they are talking about are the test microsoft does. In the recent update Microsoft inplanted something into that update that can detect fimrware. At first people thought it was the sealth's fault, but as we see it was not. "All firmwares are detectable, Stealth or non stealth." Keep that in mind you folks that are going on line with your non stealthed benqs.

So is it a possiblty that MS can ban non stealth FW even without going on live? So if someone NEVER goes online but updates with game disks when new games come out a newer FW could still ban?

According to whom??? Umm according to the single person responsible if and when we ever see another undetectable fw. And the old fw were undetectable for years so it doesn't surpise me that he is taking all the time necessary to discover any new checks. What if he had released LT back in nov when he completed it. He probably didn't even know about those checks then.

Yes LT is coming out!!! and it appears sooner then later. Judging by the post team-jungle made..it comes off a little bit arrogant.. andI love it! Makes me feel confident that it's coming out pretty quick. LT must be working if they made that post Lets hope it continues to work.

When you put in a new burned game and it says need to update with LT will i get banned. NOOBIE at MODDING!!!!
will i need to not update my xbox at all or what. Plz tell me ways of getting banned using fw and how can i prevent it.
