if you have a disk with the bios on it then select load bios from disc.. the tray will open and put in your disk and let it flash.

if your disk will not work then select enable network flashing and flash.

all these answers are in the tuts. i suggest that you read them.

did you flash it with flashbios? or X3 1959? what bios did you put on your disk?

You obviously put flashbios on the disk and re-flashed it with flashbios.
You have to flash the chip with 1959 (either put IT on a disk or network) before you can install slayers

Are we following you right?? Did you flash on of your eight banks with Flashbios 3.0.3? That should be flashed onto your backup rom.

X3 Bios 1959 should be flashed into one of your 1meg bios banks in order to get anywhere near a dash.

LITE-ON 83850C BRICKED?

OK, i have flashed many drives b4 but have got stuck at this one.... using the new version of jungle flasher with my 83850c drive and did the dummy file thing then loaded LT firmware and saved to file...... then went to erase the drive cycle powered the drive and got an error message (cant remember what it was) now the drive is dead... JF will not detect the drive anymore so i cannot put into vendor mode and it will not eject at all....please help

Re: LITE-ON 83850C BRICKED?

if you had read the jungleflasher tutorial, you would have seen that your drive is not bricked, it is locked

just send device intro to the port that the drive is connected to

then power cycle the drive
