New internal fans, please help

Hey there, quick question, console recently died, 3 red lights, got it repaired, was thinking of installing the wisper fans, on the advert it states they are 7% quiter, yet i just viewd a video feature and the guy said they were actually louder. Does anyone know if this is true since the last thing i want to do is make the damm thing louder, THANKS.

i dont think mine is louder.i do know it runs 10deg F cooler now.

whisper fans a waste of time and money stick with the stock fans if you want cooling. if you want looks 'LEDs' then go for the whisper fans. as for noise they hum differently to the stock fans due to the shape of the blades. i have them fitted in one of my consoles and i think they hum louder. For cooling just keep your console on a hard surface away from any heat source with plenty of space around it for ventilation.
