Hey, Has anyone read any news about a new modified dash coming out to support the reset glitch hack?

Appartantly team freestyle are not releasing a summer version?

Anyone care to shine light? Ive been googling and the closest thing was some dude on s7even sins saying someone has a modified dash but are keeping private.

What we need is a rebooter, and we will just have to wait. I read in a couple posts that it was in development before the RGH was released, so it shouldnt be long now. Just have to play the waiting game. Asking when it will come out doesnt really help development.

Look at freestyle dash as more of a program. You dont need it, but it is a nice add on that makes your dash nice. If a rebooter is made you can use the freestyle dash on whatever console you have.

May be silly but why would we need a rebooter, when its a CB level hack, no need to boot into lower kernel then current as that was the base of the old"jtag", this one needs something completely different, what i dont know . . . :wink:

I really shouldn't be calling it a "rebooter". We just need to be able to boot up to the newest dash with the hack.

Nevermind i got it, it was in a single sentence i must of skipped through that entire thing... cause i read that thing twice....

A glitch being unreliable by nature, we use a modified SMC image that reboots infinitely (ie stock images reboot 5 times and then go RROD) until the console has booted properly.
In most cases, the glitch succeeds in less than 30 seconds from power on that way.

Well you can boot linux for now. Also does anyone have any sources to rebooters/ modified dashes as examples. I really now wanna get into the homebrew scene as it has been cracked open.

dashboard image creation its needed!homebrew tools for this new hack are still in development.This hack has nothing to do with the first jtag hack,people that are calling it jtag are wrong,its a glitch hack that needs proper tools to boot the dashboard and reboot games.

Thanks but no thanks, I do read and still continue to read, i don't need to be told what to read and when to. :rolleyes2:
i am aware that the thread is there and is being updated as and when needed,just anticipating the release for dashboard usage, if and when it happens.
will be interesting to monitor the actual temps.

I know its not JTAG. But i cant be bothered typing REset Glitch hack.

Anyway: How dash image modification work?

Also if we see some soruce for the original JTAG, like the modifed dashes for it, we can use them as a base for the RGH

One boy (@ Xboxhacker) is patching FB image to work with RGH. As I understand, he thinks that it should work, but he doesn't have hackable board (zephyr/jasper/trinity), so he cannot test it... and - testers needed. I'm sure that FB image and dashboards will be re-made faster, once world will see new nand-x addon.

Hope, his project will work.
