I have had to purchase a new pcb for my 0800 lite-on drive as the sata port part came away with the sata cable. Just wondering what the actual steps are in order to get the new PCB up and running? Is it just a matter of installing the PCB then reflashing with 0800 firmware?

Thank you for that. I thought that may have been the case. So its not as involved as if the drive was to be put into a console? Too easy
If your only using the dvd drive as an 0800 drive as the op is then
