I am in the same situation with 2 PCB's.
Both can be flashed ok, but functional they are a mess.

One of them eject the dvd tray, the console is stuck 30 sec to 1 min to Xbox 360 logo an you either get E64 or Open tray.
The other one, it dosen't even eject dvd-tray.

Also there are 2 lots or factories where the PCB are comming from.

The smooth functional without problems is the one with the white switch for unlocking Spi and green QC Passed sticker.

The one with the problems has the switch black and the QC Passed sticker is golden.

Please confirm witch switch and sticker do you have on faulty PCB's.

Hope to resolve it by warranty.

And if this may count, i appreciate the effort from TX to make a total solderless solution, but we could get rid of the mechanical contacts, and spare 1-2$
Soldering 5 wires is not a hard job for anyone who is modding a console.

Ubergeek, i'll sent you theese 2 in exchange for 2 pro kits. :p

LE:
I forgot to mention that the PCB with white swith has a MXIC chipset instead a WIndbond present on those with black switch.

Well you see that mine is acting retarded (DEVICE ID FAILED - RETURN MRA TO NORMAL POSITION) on an INTRO.

Black Switch, Gold sticker.

Last thing I wanted was to RMA my one damn board you know?

Unfortunately the 2 faulty PCB boards are from arcalide.com and they seem to ignore emails regarding refund or replacement of these PCB's. :(

They are from France by he way....

Sorry for this "unuseful" post here but as I see this guy (playonlcd) is spreading his complaints everywhere here I would like to just add my findings.

Mine PCB's I have got have white switch and gold QC Passed sticker so according to his theory maybe 3rd factory?

Maybe noone cares since I see this guy got banned anyway.

This is interesting.

Hope that next PCB batch to be more stable; and some IC around...:(

Oh, thanks to TX forum leads, that first accused me of spam for multiple posts but ended to ban me for piracy talk. lol. If someone can conclude that i have mention any backup or game in my posts, please take me an eye for it. Or just the faulty PCB's bother them...:|

Definatley PEBKAC

Almost every single one that I have received back (except 2) have not been faulty at all - I could vendor and write to them straight away.

have you tried JF 1.86 ?

Certainly i've tried new JF. The same error. I stil couldn't write my 4 PCBs using USB PRO.

Black Switch, Gold sticker.

Well, i have send the pcb's to arcalide.com to use the warranty.

In response they send me the following text with screens form JF, with spi locked and unlocked.

The person in charge doesn't even recommend itself.

Hi,

Good is look this : SPI : 0x00 like this

Not good for your pcb after flashing….

Why have you lock Spi ???? : 0x8C

Looked L, we are not responsible for your poor handling of flash pcb

We can return good status spi : 0x00 for 25€ each pcb
Tell us what we do ?
You can buy online 1 pc of pcb xecuter and we return your 2 pcb xecuter deloocked status 0x00

We have flash and test yours pcb on our 360 slim and work fine….
Very disappointed.
I think they are trying to get rid of me because i am not from France and can make any claims to customer protection. Will see about that.

Also, i have 5 years experience in modding consoles and they are blaming for locking a spi according to manual. :)

Well the boards came back as i have send them.
One of them has a cut on mxic unlock point.
Another 40E spend on shipping.

On one night i was inspecting the board and observe that 2 pins form sata connector were connected, pin 2 to GND. Afther desolder the joint the pcb is working fine.

Now remains the one that doesn't eject.
It spins the dvd but no eject.

Any technical clues might be helpfully.

So it an manufacturing error...
