New problem. CR4-Demon

So here is the story. had this jasper that started with R-JTAG and later adding a TX demon.
then i swaped the R-JTAG chip with CR4 RGH2+ method. all worked. I just was not happy with Boot times.

So i Re wired it for R-JTAG+

Freeboot boots very fast on the demon nand. but the retail IMG does not. CR4 debug lights flashes really fast.
i tried putting retail and the demon and Freeboot on my 360 nand. once again freeboot works fine but retail does not.

So i know my soldering is good and everything worked great untill i changed glitch methods with the CR4

I am lost here.

BTW i am using the old school ROL JTAG wirirng No ALT AUD QSB

And here is a weird thing. when i revert back to RGH2+ Everything works perfect. Retail and freeboot/ both Nands

Don't think demon retail is compatible with rjtag unless you can figure out a way to disable the JTAG wiring with the cr_en

I could be wrong though

I think an external switch or a relay of some kind should work

When trying retail remove the 5v wire from the cr4 and see if the retail boots.

If it dose the it's just a matter of sorting something out to disable the cr4 when using r-jtag+ with the demon.

Which can be done using a couple of transistor and 2 resistors.

Yes TX Demon is compatibe with R-JTAG

Thats what i started with and then added the CR4 with the RGH2+ method and it worked perfect i just did not like the boot times.

So i re wired the CR4 R-JTAG+ and the freeboot was instaboot with no tuning on default which i was stoked about but Retail nand does not.
The cr4 debug light flashes once really quick every 5 seconds eventualy throwing a error code. if i try retail.

I even swapped nands and freeboot still worked but no retail so i know there everything is good. i just put it all back to RGH2+ and all is good.

This is odd. im thinken its a bug unless Tx demon and R-JTAG+ is not compatible

That's what the cr_en pad is for

The console won't boot retail with regular JTAG wiring unless I'm mistaken you should get an e74 or something

If it not booting stock dash then you will get red ring of some sort. What error code are you getting and how long is it taking to red ring

Fair call,

I was wrong on my theory anyway, I was under the impression that you couldn't boot stock nand with JTAG wiring intact

By the sounds of things cr_en is not working as it's supposed to because his dbg led is blinking when he's trying to boot stock.

Anyone ever had this problem or know of a fix?
i had the same problem why I asked you couple questions previous. Mine was down to the ldv mismatch on the retail image. The glitch side worked

remove the 5v wire from the cr4. the stock nand should be on the xbox already so try boot the xbox. Does it red ring also how long and what is the secondary code if it does

Its not a LDV issue. When i use the R-JTAG chip with demon and ROL JTAG wiring Both freeboot and retal boot fine no issues.
I added the CR4 Via RGH2+ with the TX Demon and Both freeboot and retail nands boot fine

When i wire up CR4 Via R-JTAG+ method with ROL JTAG wiring Freeboot will Glitch in 1 cycle but when i try to boot retail the debug light will Flash once every 5 seconds 5 times and then Red Ring
3 lights are flashing. I cant check secondary error code cause when i go to hold down sync button it Switches Nands. I really dont want to remove that wire to get error code

I know its not my soldering. i have no issues until i wire up the Cr4 via R-JTAG+ and the freeboot works perfect but not the retail. Even if i swap nands Same results. but here is a Pic to prove my soldering it Except able

I am having issues with RJTAG+

RJTAG like the chip original RJTAG(Not the CR4 RJTAG+) worked fine with the demon
CR4 RGH2+ worked fine with the demon
CR4 RJTAG+ will boot freeboot but not retail.

I even tried putting the Freeboot on the xbox360s Nand and retail on demon with same results. Freeboor but no retail. so i know both nands are good

I really want to be able to use the RJTAG+ method cause it was smashing on my xbox. 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1.

From what i can understand he cannot boot the retail side as it is getting to 30 seconds and rrod which is normal on the stock nand if the console does not boot. Looks to me that the cren circuit is not working as it is not disabling the cr4.
