New ranking system

Just wondering if anyone knew what the new ranking system was based on. I can't tell if it is still posts or if its a combination between posts and seniority or what. By the way, I love the new look and features.

title still seems to work by posts but i got no clue where reputation comes from

Ok, I get it. The buttons under all your stuff, one of them says "Add to _____'s reputation." So I guess that when you help someone they can give you reputation points. da_supa_fish, I'll give you points, tell me if anything changes.

EIDT: Ok, I did it and it gave me an approve or disapprove box and a place for a comment.

From what I'v gatherered it's pretty much luck if you get your old title back. Don't think rep has much to do with it.

Ok, before Da_supa_fish gave me any, mine was at 10. After he gave me some mine is at 12. So... if his is at 13 after I gave him some then other stuff must weigh how many points you give.

wishful thinking....its just one more thinkg to click on and another page to have to back-up from personally.....but now if i see it fit ill start rep'ng ppl for a helpful post...
