do you think it would be possible to have like the A,B and d-pad on the front of the case therefore being able to use the xlcd with the screen off and you could play music. twistedsymphony is in the process of making a device that can switch controller so if this was used a controller port wouldnt be wasted.

hey i have an idea! xbox remote! ^_~. XBMC has already stated that the remote can do any function and on top of that in the future they might make it a requirement to use the dash
with Xbox Media Center you can use your remote i believe, check out their site for details at http://www.xboxmediacenter.de

ALSO!: YOU CAN ENABLE THE HTTP SERVER IN THE CONFIGURATION OF XBMC
this means if u connect to ur xbox's ip with a laptop u can controll what its playing... this means u can control it wirelessly with a laptop. I let my friends in NY (im in TN) control my xbox by putting files on it and letting them play me music, it was fun ^_~

xecuter any chance i would love the idea of not having to have a controllor pluged in to play a movie or maybe with the tv off and play music(looking at the x3lcd. Any news on the Graphic lcd.
thats a damn fine idea right there, but id expect the lpc for that would be too big to fit properly and too much work to shrink down to a viable size. id say all face buttons, the dpad, and maybe l and r, no need for the analog sticks, and they could all be shrunken down if that helps, i really doubt that anyone would want full size buttons, and if they do, may god have mercy on their wretched souls...
