I got a new revision Lite-On iHAS124 E (iHAS124-14 EU). Just as a heads up, this one is not supported by BurnerMAX either (like the W version that I expected to receive, lol): BurnerMAX not enabled, YET !.

I'm posting this because I can not find any info on this revision yet.

I was not able to backup the EEPROM using the EEPROM Utility that was supplied with the iXtreme BurnerMAX firmware.

thanks for the info. i think its safe to say that any new revision won't be compatible now
maybe the tx crew will change that at a later date

I got my I has 124 rev E yesterday after my rev D died on me and it works perfectly with burnermax.
Is it just "E" or "EU" (printed on the drive)? And what firmware does yours have? As you can see in the screenshot I was on 4L03 when testing but I've seen people having success with E revisions with 4L04 firmware.

The 4L04 firmware can be downloaded here: http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_2067-file_4L04.EXE.html

Unfortunately I don't have the drive of my OP anymore so I can't flash it with the 4L04 firmware and test if BurnerMax will work then.

Currently more people on the internet report that these drives are supported (back then there were no reports), so I ordered new E revision burners but again the BurnerMAX Payload gives me the same error. I tried flashing with the 4L04 firmware but the updater app throws an error.

I have no idea what's causing these problems for me.

Turns out that the X360Pro that I used to hook it up was the problem, now have it hooked up directly to my motherboard and it works fine now. Too bad I didn't knew that earlier.
