I picked up a new SD card this week to upgrade from my old 128gb to a 256gb. I've been trying to get it to work correctly and keep doing something wrong. I stuck the new card in, Created a new emunand using the hidden partition option. The first thing i did after it completed was an offline update to 9.1.0 exfat mode. I'm trying to restore my saves using checkpoint 3.7.4 but every time i launch it the system crashes with a 2162-0002 error. I can launch sxinstaller and it doesn't seem to crash
I've tried to launch it from both the sx os menu and also from hbmenu with the same results either way.
I've tried to launch it from 8.1.0 before updating and it does the same thing.
I've recreated the emunand and it does the same thing.
If i stick the old card in it works as expected and i can launch checkpoint so i know if something with this card or something i'm doing when i create it but i can't figure out what. Its a samsung evo select 256gb card. The old 128gb card is the same type. I ordered it from the amazon samsung store so there shouldn't be any issues with it being an authentic card. One difference between the old card and the new one is since the old card was created back in the 5.x firmware days its using the file based emunand but from what i've read on the forums the hidden partition is the way you want to set it up now. Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated!
Update#1: I'm trying a full format of the card and will create a new emunand in file mode next but other than that the only thing i can think to try is to clone the current card.
Update #2: That didn't work so i'm copying over the old card to the new one and will see if that works.
