I was wondering about this comment on the new solderless adapter for X3... is it coming out soon?? is it going to be a totally no solder solution for the 1.6? just asking.

Well that do you know. I wish I would have know this was being released before I ruined 1 XBOX, bought a new one and had it send out and modded for $140+

Not if you dont own any solder equipment and have to buy it or think your to handicapped to solder.

I still recommend soldering!

thats what i'm saying man... i dont' have the steady hands it would take to solder the darded thing and as frankenberry said on this thread... well he said exactly why i would like to know about a solderless adapter. I am too much of a tard to solder the teenie tiny board... i have sausage fingers!!!! (not really... i'm just clumsy and cannot spell).

Can't play games on modded xbox 360

Hi i'm very new to x360 modding, and i recently (last week) got mine modded.

I have a x360 elite from 2008 with a benq dvd drive.
As soon as it was modded i downloaded the game: darksiders, burned it on a +r dl dvd (verbatemin) with clonecd on 2.4x speed. It seems that i did evrything right.

But when i load the dvd in my x360 it doenst start. It says that the dvd is damaged and needs to be cleaned but its a new dvd. It also doenst show the dvd options (y button copy to hdd etc.) But when i connect to xlive it loads the darksiders icon in the game channel.

Last night i borrowed a burned dvd from a friend of mine (Oblivion) wich works fine on my x360.

So whats the problem? did i burn it wrong? Is the firmware outdated?

What FW are you using?? Might be a bad burn....Did you set your booktype to be DVD? There is a bunch of reason that it wouldn't work... you need to put down more info on your situation..Please

Then I first got mine modded I burnt about 4 different games and not one worked, I even tried a laptop to burn them with nothing.

I went and got a new burner, and the first and ever game after has worked fine.

iXtreme LT doesn't add the calibration data when updating the firmware. it's really unfortunate. The only thing I can suggest is doing a pot calibration

if you cant open the drive up, get a very small screw driver *philips

you will see 2 screws on the side of the LASER

be very careful and turn the screws from 12 o clock to 1 o clock, close it up and test

iXtreme LT doesn't update the firmware, it IS the firmware. Jungleflasher does the actual updating. The latest version, 1.70, does add the calibration data.
