GENERAL New To Flashing Question? About Tools Needed?

Hi to everyone on this Forum. :smile:

Sorry if this is the wrong section but my question is about the firmware.

Ok I had my Xbox 360 flashed long time ago a friend of mines flashed it for me it was 1.61 firmware. I wanted it flashed to the 1.91 firmware and was thinking of doing it myself since i have seen some video tutorials on it. My question is what do I need to flash it with? I have heard of this CK3 pro thing but can it be flashed just by connecting a sata cable from PC to my Xbox 360 and not needing this CK3 thing?

You are not going to get much support on these forums if you are trying to flash without buying any tx tools. You will also find all that you asked for in other threads. Just do a search.

This is a tx site. And at least some hardware purchase is in order.

But just this once. You do not need to purchase any tx products to flash your drive. But you will run into a lot of issues.

Ck3 provides power to the drive so you don't run the risk of ruining your Xbox using it for power. Let alone the chance of flag ban.

Also your chipset has to be compatible.

You may also need a probe 3.

If you want generic information I suggest going onto the irc channels like #jungleflasher and asking them what their opinion is.
You will probably find out that most people recommend tx products.
