Hey everyone, there is a ton of great info on this site and I've been learning a lot. I had no idea how much went into modding xbox 360's.

Okay so I have a Corona v4 with a 4gb NAND (Samsung) that I am trying to mod.

I purchased the CR4XL from modchip central. With the CR4XL they sent me the JR Programmer and a TRINITY QSB v3.

Unfortunately its been a long time since I placed my order so a return isn't an option. Is there anyway I can make it work with the parts I have now?

I've been doing some research and it seems to me that I'd need to buy a couple new pieces (the 4GB NAND R/W & a Corona V4 QSB).

I'd really appreciate it if someone could take the time to point me in the right direction, I don't mind buying a couple new parts, I just want to make this thing work. I'm pretty savvy with electronics and have a lot of equipment, I could probably handle doing the install without the QSB but I can't find a tutorial with wires only.

Any and all help is much appreciated

U will also need a postfix adapter.
If u are doing wire install and not using a qsb then u only need to solder to the 5v point.

Hey thanks for your reply,

So if I do a wire install I would need: postfix adapter, CR4XL, & 4GB NAND R/W (could I use the Jrunner instead since I have that?)

If I do a QSB install then I need: postfix adapter, CR4XL, 4GB NAND R/W (again not sure if I can use the Jrunner instead), and the QSB (can I use V3 or V4?)

Also could you point me in the direction of a wire install tutorial?

Thanks again for the help

You will need to postfix regardless or no glitchy. You can make your own 4gb reader really easily, but if you have to order a postfix ya might aswell get the reader while your at it

J runner is the program u use to rgh/JTAG xboxs. Think u are getting mixed up with Jr programmer and j runner. J r programmer is used to read/write to the nand on all xboxs except 4gb coronas. U can't use a Jr programmer on 4gb coronas, only a 4gb read/write kit.

For wire install look at the test reports in cr4 section.
For example like this one.
