New to SXOS need guides/help to restore sysnand backup and setup emunand

Hi, I recently bought a used Switch with the SXOS PRO bundle. The previous owner never took the console from plane mode since he started using CFW and has a sysnand backup made a little after starting to use SXOS (sadly not before).

I would like to restore the oldest sysnand backup and setup an emunand, as I read using CFW exclusively in emunand diminishes your chances of getting banned. Could anyone point me to a guide or explain to me how I can do these two things?

First things first, make a new NAND backup in case anything goes wrong. I suggest using Hekate since it will get the job done in about 15 minutes. Then you can carry on to restoring the dump you have now (You need the full raw NAND and your boot0/1 files, If you don't have them all, it's useless.) From there you can create an emuNAND using this guide: Please let us know if you have any more questions. :)

Hello, I'm reopening this thread since my question is exactly similar. I want to restore a clean nand on my switch with SXOS PRO. Can I do that straight from the SX OS menu?
Also, I have changed the firmware to 8.1 through CdJ, does it change anything since when I made my clean nand the firmware was probably 4.1?

When you restore a NAND image, it will downgrade your sysNAND to whatever version you had when you made the backup. If your fuse count does not match, you will have to use the SX OS bootloader menu if you want to boot OFW. After you update to the correct firmware for the fuse count, you can boot normally again.
