new to xbox and xecuter have some questions, help please

our local gamestop only has really old systems in stock used wise they said they are not the newer style slims.

if im watching ebay or somewhere what should i be looking for to be 100% sure..?? and still torn about returning this one.. arghhhhhhhh problem is now the kids want to play it and 15days will be up quickly

i would just ask to see the consloe before you buy it if they dont what to show it to you then tell them your going to a diff store and walk out

Not sure where you are located but there is a 4g Slim here in Las Vegas for $120 I was thinking of picking it up

you mean from gamestop correct?? i am told when i called them they only have the older style in used ones without the touch button which i assume are the "phat" ones??

any thoughts is that drive what i need for this...still going to try to return it but im not sure i can now

if you keep it there is no point looking for a new drive when you might have one that is good for flashing, like i said, you need to open it up.

do you want homebrew? do you want a flashed drive? or both.

1. keep it stock for originals and XBL.

2. flash it to play back ups and go on XBL, thats if you have a DG-16D4S drive.

3. sell it/keep it, buy a second hand one (phat or slim) to flash and RGH it, dont forget about the MFR date on the slim, anything before august.

4. dont bring it back if your gonna trade it for another one, at this time of the year there all going to be corona motherboards.

Just Fyi. I just bought a brand new trinity near Indianapolis at a walmart yesterday. The entire lot they have look to be trinities.

im not sure how much they go for in the states, but sell it at a competitive price but don't hurt your pockets at the same time. hopefully you'll have a trinity in no time.

i still wouldn't chance it, too much hassle if it turned out to be another corona, to be 100% sure go for a second hand one, theres plenty of them that are like new.

def all really new ones here in fl. i called more than 20 walmarts and 11 of them didnt even have any in stock at all which means they will def get coronas for the next shipments im sure. and with what i paid not sure if its worth the hassle of trying more new ones.

I just bought a slim bundle with kinect from target and it was manufactured in April. Walmart sold all of theirs when they had the Black Friday sale. Try other retailers like Kmart or Sears that didn't have a big sale on xboxes. Most likely they've been sitting on them for a while.

Sorry Danny didn't add I know the store manager he opened one up for me and checked the ac value on the xbox and sure enough 10.83 but we will keep that quite lol.

If it helps anyone but not 100% sure it will but this was from lot/date 1133x model 1439/1414 s/n 3209 4gb kinect bundle.
