the TX Coolrunner Fakes now also have the dot on the Chip.

Thats what I was going to say.

Where do you guys find these clones? Surely not from the official resellers. I know we all like a bargain but who's to blame when things go wrong. £15 (Modtraders) or $17 (Xconsoles) isn't a fortune and and least you know you're getting genuine TX gear.

IMO people who buy from anywhere other than a official reseller are asking for trouble and have no one to blame but themselves. Uber and everyone else cannot stress enough official reseller, official reseller, buy from an official reseller and the fakes will vanish!!!!

Amen to that, I was amazed they retailed for that price in the first place tbh.

Unfortunately the fakes will never vanish as there will always be a market for fakes of everything

it's the way of life for most to save a couple of pounds.

Not worth the hassle or headaches though IMHO espcially as the retail price isn't that high anyway you could possibly understand it more if the cool runners for £50 but for £14 it's not worth risking a perfectly good console

Probably got lucky.

But don't forget, if you ever have a problem with it. Do not expect much in the way of support if it goes wrong in the future.

The price difference is about 5-10€

For the sake of €10 I'd by a gen one, saying that, I'd only buy a gen one
