hello i just got my new lite on 8385 replacement drive from one of the authorized tx sellers. here is the problem

when i bought this xbox i got no tool to flashit so i give it to another person to do the flash for me that person damage my liteon driver, so he spoofed a hitachi drive, since support for hitachis are not that common (firmwares) i decide to get a new lite on. i dont have any key.bin or dummy.bin from that person, i just got my dvd key on my email. i tried to manaul spoof my drive key to the new one but when i went to the writing process and i do all the steps on jf tutorial at the end the key never got copy to the new drive.. ive been ready and looking around on how to solve this, but no luck so far and i dont know what else to do.

im using xbox usb pro and ck3 pro

i just notice that jf detect my drivers as a 8385 but they remove the original sticker on top of the driver( because i saw glue on the borders) and put a 74850 sticker

You need to add the firmware you are goin to write as target and then manually spoof the key that you have even if you have to type it in manually then go to erase and write then it will work. You have written it without the proper key.

i use orginal firm as a source and also as a target( im selecting both manually) because i need to update my dashboard first because right now is ver 2.0.12625.0 but, since i can put my xbox key on this drive i cant update, also and when i tried to update my dashboard via usb its just got stuck everytime, so i need to put my key on this drive, update and then flashit agian with the latest firmware.

thanks for your help
