I bought a used Switch some time ago, up to now I've used it running backup games, always offline, on firmware 8.0.0 and without emunand. I have a "clean" backup (not made by me, but according to the previous owner, it's clean). I would like to restore the backup, update it and then setup an emunand.
How would I go about doing this? Is it a good idea to restore the old backup and update the console from Nintendo? Or should I follow [GUIDE] How to Update Firmware OFFLINE? I already made a NAND backup, just in case.
Regarding the emuNAND, which option is recommended to create it, partition or files?
Besides that, could someone point me towards a save file manager guide?
