Ok, I have been reading about the different wireless controllers,eg logitech, mad catz. Well I purchased before I read, I purchased a set of NYKO controllers. Bring them home, plug them [email protected]#$&it. So are there any config files that I have to edit. I was reading in a post somewhere that the particular game pad may need to be added to a certain files. Any help would be appreciated.. These are the NYKO 2.4 MHZ multiplayer gamepads

Thanks

sounds to me like someone has fed you some incorrect info. I have never heard of anyone having to edit files to make a controller work on an xbox. Just thinking logically if someone with an unmodded xbox purchased these contorllers they would not be able edit any files so that statement makes no sense atall.

the only thing I can guess you might mean is that you have an Xecuter 3 modchip and the controllers dont work in config live. If this is the case then some controllers will not work in X3 config live, its always best to use a standard ms controller for this.

Wireless controllers can sometimes be set to work on different channels - have you got this setup correctly. not being patronising but working in the industry you see all kinds of things - are the batteries they supplied with the controller OK?

The only mod that I have done to the machine is the X3 Mod chip and the X3LCD. Didn't know that there was a mod for the controllers

The info that I had read probably is false, not that you put it that way. Yes I have modded my xbox with the X3 mod chip and also the X3LCD. Nothing else. The controllers have two channels, and if not configured properly, A light flashes. These controllers don't work at all. Not inX3 config or even in the games. Wish I had and unmodded Xbox to see if they even work themselves. Batterys are good... Thanks
