New x3 old hard drive..help please

I had an old lite xecuter chip in and it sucked so I got a x3, but kept the hdd.
Do I flash the new bios the same way and everything?
Or do I have to delete something...Thanks for the help guys..

Well, that CLEARLY isn't enough information for me, but here's what I can give.

If you have a version 1.0 - 1.5 Xbox then use the X3 3108.bin Bios from Xbins.

If you have a version 1.6 or 1.6b Xbox then use the X3 3108v16plus.bin bios from Xbins (it comes with the above mentioned bios)

Easiest way to flash is via http. use the flashbios tutorial from the main site.
