Hello,
Thank you in advance. I have really looked everywhere and everyone seems to have opinions on how to do this but can not find one that works. I have a new xbox slim 360 4 gb w/ kinect with the new dashboard. I want to store backed up games on an external hard drive and be able to play the ISO's. I do not want to have to burn games. Is this possible and can anyone lend a hand. I have a Wii and I use a GX usb loader and have iso files saved on a drive that I can scroll through like a jukebox. Is this possible on this version of x box. please help, I am lost. Links would be much appreciated. [email protected]

There is not a "soft mod" available for the Xbox like the wii. The only option to play games off a hard drive is the rgh the console and then you can run the games off an external USB drive or network server.

It requires soldering and the installation of the coolrunner board. This should be done by a pro. Let me know if you need it done. Pm me and I can let you know my rates.

The guides here really help with the RGH. The only problem you would have is soldering the points. If you can practice soldering a lot to where you think you have enough skills to solder it the programming is SUPER EASY(maybe some hiccups but nothing that can't be quickly solved by some cool people on these forums.
