i am totally new to xbox.
so i went to ebay purchased a VIA 6421 SATA CARD . installed it with the latest drivers from via.
i then opened up my xbox360 saw i had a hitachi 46 drive. so i went and got the slax iso file. burned it to disk. hooked up my xbox 360 via the sata cable which was then plugged into my sata card.
i restarted both machines haveing my computer boot from cd. it did its stuff on the screen asked me to login at the end of the slax process username root password toor. i then typed reboot and my machine rebooted i removed the slax cd and ejected the xbox360 draw a few times during startup. and when i went to my pc it wasnt showing the rom in my device manager.
can anyone give me some help i was trying to get my pc to see my xbox rom for 4 hours yesterday with no joy whatsoever thanks
