New Xbox360 won't read backed up games.

I have recently puchased a new Xbox 360. I have gotten it modded. When I went to get it modded, the Modder informed me that this unit has been refubished. He could tell from the larger text in the back. The manufacture date is 02-02-2007. It was puchased from WalMart.
When completed, I had brought over one of my games(NFS;CARBON) burnt on Memmorex like all the rest of my games.... and it didn't read the disc. He then popped in a game on a Verbatim, it worked. This is the second xbox 360 he has done for me. The 1st played all my games. This one I tried about 5, only 1 worked(GRAW 2).
It's a Samsung drive just like the 1st.
I went out and bought Verbatim DVD's and copied NHL 2k7 using 120%, but again, read disc error.

I am stumped! I just wanna play!!!!

whats this 120% you wrote about at the end of your thread, i hope its not the program alcohol120% as this doesnt burn backups you need a program like imgburn which i think is available in the downloads section.

Yes that is Alcohol 120%.

Here are the facts:
I have a collection of 23 games (all on Memmorex) that worked fine with my 1st modded 360. Now these games don't work with my latest 360 so I tried to copy a game(NHL2K7) on to a Verbatim but still no luck. Of the 5 games I tried, only 1 worked( GRAW 2).

Oh ya, both 360's have Samsung drives and were modded from same guy.

I think I found out what the problem is.....I have about 24 games. I originally burnt with Clone CD and they all worked fine. Then I sold my 1st modded 360 and made back ups of all the games using either Nero,Alcohol 120. I think I should reburn using Clone cd again? I just tried about 4-5 original games that were burnt from Clone CD on Memmorex? I don t wanna install another burning software so I wonder if any of the above can do A 1-1 copy. Maybe I use Clone CD?

Any thoughts.........
